Ralphie was born on 17th February 1972 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, but was raised in Clarksville, Arkansas. He was the youngest of his four siblings. He met with an automobile accident at the age of 16, where his 42 bones were broken. He wants to stay on the path showed by his idol, Sam Kinison. To improve his comedy skills, Kinison suggested May to move to Houston.
May moved to Los Angeles to make a career in the entertainment industry after his graduation from High School. On his 36th birthday, May shed some light on his childhood, saying he had a lot of fun then which he can’t feel now due to his busy life in Los Angeles.
