Early Life
Faruqui was born on 28 January 1992 in Junagadh, Gujarat to an Indian Muslim family. His family relocated to Mumbai during the 2002 communal riots of Gujarat in which his home was destroyed and his mother died soon after, when he was only 16 year old.
At the age of 17, he was unwilled to work for his family when his father fell sick. He worked at a utensil store while attending school.
Faruqui worked as a graphic designer in early twenties. In 2017, when various OTT platforms were started working in India he became aware of comedy and he began working as a comedian.

Career
Munawar uploaded a standup comedy video in April 2020 named “Dawood, Yamraaj & Aurat” on his channel, which went viral and earned him, his initial stardom. He released his first rap song “Jawab” in collaboration with an Indian musician Spectra in August 2020.
He uploaded a standup comedy video in 28 Feb 2021, named “Ghost Story” on his YouTube Channel.
In 2022 he participated in a contestant on Kangana Ranaut’s reality television show Lock Upp.
Faruqui was on his tour where he was performing comedy in through the different parts of India. he performed a stand-up show at Munro Cafe in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, which was interrupted by Eklavya Singh Gaur, child of BJP MLA Malini Gaur accusing him of poking noxious fun at Hindu divinities and the Minister of Home Affairs of India, Amit Shah. On 2 January, he was arrested by Madhya Pradesh Police amidst his comic demonstration, expressing that he was arrested under the Hate speech regulations in India. The police nonetheless, had no proof against Munawar, actually arrested him.
